	The Old Pretender In this painting of the marriage of Prince James Stuart (The Old Pretender), by Agostino Masucci, the diamond wedding ring of his parents, Mary of Modena and James II of England, is placed on the finger of the new bride, the Polish princess Clementina Sobieska, at Montefiascone, Italy, in 1719.
